indomitable lions of Cameroon. Legendary clubs like PWD, CAMARK , SANTOS LAKERS , and SYNTRACUCAM all from the City of Kumba have fed the nation with dynamic players like Ndip Akem Victor, Tataw Eta Stephen, Pius Ndefi, Ashu Tong, Esa Pius, Nlend Simon and many others. Every summer vacation, the youths of Kumba engaged in inter-quarters football competitions. For more than a decade now, the football fame of the city has been on a downward spiral, especially with the disappearance of its legendary football clubs. In fact for a long time now Kumba has been forgotten with its rich football history. But hope is not all lost. A great football sponsor is born. In reaction to the situation, the dynamic administrator is about to resurrect the long-forgotten football clubs. First Mr Gregory organized the first edition of the Kumba City Council inter-quarters football competition. That was in December 2020. There was equally a female football tournament.
