December 5, 2024, the Senior Divisional Officer (SDO) of Meme, Chamberlain Ntou\u2019ou Ndong, expressed his satisfaction with the rapid progress of several key City Council projects in Kumba.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ba2f296 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"ba2f296\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kumbacitycouncil.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/761e2070-8d67-4e4f-b033-279e88b6e7ad.jpeg\" title=\"761e2070-8d67-4e4f-b033-279e88b6e7ad\" class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The inspection team also involved municipal authorities, divisional delegates, and contractors who oversaw major developments such as the construction of a new ultra-modern City Council edifice, the Kumba City Council Grandstand, and the ongoing PDVIR project at Cameroon Street.<\/p><p>At the site of the new Council Chambers, the SDO marveled at the pace of construction, noting the great advancements since his last visit, when the project was only at the foundation stage.<\/p><p>&#8220;We can see that the SDO is satisfied, the technicians are satisfied by the work done at the Grandstand,&#8221; the SDO said while expressing himself on the ongoing construction at the Kumba City Council Grandstand.<\/p><p>&#8220;What I can say is that the work is perfectly done, and I\u2019m sure that in the nearest future we are going to celebrate these big and wonderful infrastructures,&#8221; he continued.<\/p><p>The City Mayor, Greg Mewanu on his part thanked the Head of State for ensuring Kumba&#8217;s inclusion in such critical development projects. &#8220;You can see it happening, the companies are there, the workers are all present, and I think we are going to make it,&#8221; said the City Mayor. &#8220;The Kumba population is unconditionally ready to support and make sure that this project becomes a reality. You could see the vivre-ensemble that is happening in Kumba.&#8221;<\/p><p>The City Mayor also highlighted some challenges faced during the construction, particularly regarding the Cameroon Street road. He explained that the maturation of the project and the need to pay indemnities to those who had illegally built on the roads had led to delays.<\/p><p>The Senior Divisional Officer encouraged all stakeholders involved in the projects to intensify their efforts to ensure their swift completion.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
