including 495,000,000FCFA as 2025 additional budget, with 45 million in the operating revenue &amp; 450 million in the Investment revenue. The expenditure section witnessed significant allocations directed towards infrastructure , sports facilities, and community\u00a0development.<\/p><p>According to the breakdown presented, major revenue sources include subventions from FEICOM (150 million FCFA), state allocations (15 million FCFA), and local development tax (30 million FCFA). Notably, Les Boissons du Cameroun contributed 500 million FCFA to support municipal development.<\/p><p>On the expenditure side, priority projects were earmarked for building sports infrastructure (500 million FCFA), hydraulic works (160 million FCFA), and official ceremonies, training, and studies (65 million FCFA combined).<\/p><p>City Mayor Gregory Mewanu, in his address to councillors, emphasized the council\u2019s commitment to urban modernization. \u201cOver the past seven months, the council has remained steadfast in implementing projects aimed at improving the living standards of our people,\u201d he said.<\/p><p>He highlighted the progress made in road rehabilitation across the municipality. \u201cFollowing the successful road works on SONAC Street, Endeley Street, Mambungise, and Lido Street, we have now progressed to Limumba Street, and particularly to Alaska Street where road construction is currently underway,\u201d the City Mayor noted.<\/p><p>He further stressed that these efforts are in line with the council\u2019s vision of transforming Kumba into a modern urban space. He pointed to the ongoing PDRIV project in Kumba II Sub-Division, which he said is contributing to the overall modernization of the municipality.<\/p><p>Looking ahead, Mayor Mewanu announced plans for the effective use of the 500 million FCFA allocation from Les Boissons du Cameroun, which will finance the construction of new facilities for the benefit of the population. \u201cThis substantial support will further accelerate our development drive and meet the needs of our citizens,\u201d he assured.<\/p><p>Councillors praised the transparency of the mid-term review and reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the smooth implementation of the projects outlined.<\/p><p>The mid-term budgetary session is held annually to assess execution, address discrepancies, and integrate additional projects into the year\u2019s financial plan for legitimate and effective\u00a0implementation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
