The Kumba City Council was among the municipalities that participated in the “Journées Economic Internationale Des Communes” which was held in Yaounde from the 3rd to the 5th of December 2021. It was a unique opportunity for the council to showcase its phenomenal potentials of cocoa , timber , abundant food crops and its innumerable touristic sites and wonders.
JEICOM 2021 was the brainchild of the CVUC “Communes et Villes Unies du Cameroun”, a conglomerate of 360 councils and 14 City Councils, which jointly promote national and international partnerships for local development. As prominent participants in the event, Mr Gregory N. Mewanu the economy-oriented City Mayor, and his suite entreated all the funding partners and investors to come and do business with Kumba. Meanwhile, at the fairgrounds, a good number of Kumba-friendly participants obtained the council’s brochure, expressing their readiness to travel to the green City as soon as possible.
