Greg Mewanu, the City Mayor of Kumba, participated in a business meeting with German economic operators on November 25 and 26, 2024, in Yaounde, capital city of Cameroon.

The meeting, organized by the Investment and Technology Promotion Office of UNIDO Germany (UNIDO ITPO Germany) in partnership with GIZ, provided the City Mayor an opportunity to showcase the economic potential of his city to the visiting German business delegation.
The event focused on key strategic sectors such as agro-industry, infrastructure (water, energy, waste management), import-export, banking, pharmaceuticals, construction, mining, renewable energy, biogas, livestock, and services.
This initiative is part of a broader forum to promote investment opportunities and the transfer of sustainable technologies. Through this “charm offensive,” Greg Mewanu continues his efforts to position the city as an attractive destination for business and investment.
